Supplies Required:

- Ruler or Flat thick object to flatten the folded edges to make a strong crease.
Step 1:
- The first step is keeping your paper in horizontal — orientation over the table
- Valley fold it.
Step 2:
- Valley fold the sections as shown in the Fig.2
- But don’t cross the centre crease!
Step 3:
- Now, rotate your paper to the backside
- Make two valley folds like it is shown in the picture
Step 4:
- Now valley fold the top circled sharp edge section in Fig.4 to the bottom circle as like the arrows direct you to
Step 5:
- Now, you will get two thin ears like extras on both sides of top section
- Fold and hide them inside, I know it is confusing that’s why we have a Fig.5 for you, my friend!
- Now what you made should look like Fig.6, I believe you!
Step 6:
- Now you should fold the tiny right side wing to the centre line as like shown in Fig.6
Paper Airplane facts: “In 1783 France, hot air balloons were made to carry humans as passengers were constructed out of Paper lined cloths“
Step 7:
- This step is the real head-scratching one, take your mom or dad’s help if you can’t able to continue
- Fold the top side’s rounded edge and insert it into the other side’s socket
- It is possible only by closing the model, Just fold the plane to the centre line and try insert it into the other side
Step 8:
- Valley fold both the sides to make the wings
- Refer the line and assume the same distance for folding
Step 9:
- Now, you’re officially promoted for making winglet on your rocker paper plane
- Fold both sides, just as shown in Fig.9 (the winglets were never bigger than the wings they are smaller sections of a paper plane
- If you have made it bigger than wings*, we should try to avoid this kind of mistakes when we try for the next time
Step 10:
- Make your rocker planes orientation right, Check the folds are crisp like Fig.10
Step 11:
- Passengers the flight is ready for take-off!
- Now, it’s time to find a better open place for flying.
- Congrats! You’ve done it!
- Don’t experiment this on your kitchen, we are not responsible for the consequences! Haha!

Rocker flying technique:
- Keep your left foot slightly forward and launch it in 30 – 40 degrees angle, throw it steadily with a medium force. If it fails, tweak the tail wing slightly up and try again.
- Try different angles and forces now! Wow, That’s how one learns properly with more trying and flying. Kudos!
