The controversial argument is that Paper airplanes don’t fly but they start falling from the moment you threw them in the air. But, Because of their design and capabilities, they delay the time of falling. Because for anything to fly it should generate the necessary lift without slowing down the aircraft or stalling to the ground. Supplies Required:
- A4 Sheet of Paper or a Foolscap Paper with 70-90 GSM
- Ruler or Flat thick object to flatten the folded edges to make a strong crease.
Step 1:
- Keep your A4 sheet of paper in Landscape orientation and fold into half from top to bottom equally and UNFOLD it
Step 2:
- Now bring the Top Left-hand edge and Bottom Left-hand edge to the center line
- Make sure you don’t cross the center line
Step 3:
- Now, bring the left side diagonal edges to the center crease as shown in Fig.3
Step 4:
- Now, Mountain fold the paper airplane into half along the center crease and check for their symmetry
Step 5:
- Fold the wings with a fuselage length of about 1 cm to hold
- Make sure you fold the wing on the other side too
Step 6:
- Make the winglets on the edges of the wings
- Compare Fig.6 and Fig.7 for your understanding!
Step 7:
- The Scraper Paper airplane is ready to hover over skyscrapers, All you need to do is find a spot that is open with no air turbulence!

Scraper flying technique:
- Hold the Plane behind the center of the plane’s gravity center
- Keep your left foot slightly forward and launch it at a 30 – 40 degrees angle, throwing it steadily with a medium force. If it fails, tweak the tail wing slightly up and try again.
