To get a better motivation towards making a gliding paper airplane, Here comes one! Orville and Wilbur Wright made a miniature prototype of their aero plane model to test out the aircraft aerodynamics. So, From a kid to adult, there is no limitation (or) second thought to start making your first Paper Plane. Slick slider has a easy go design simple instructions, you can fold the whole plane within minutes and enjoy flying. Also, we have a easy to make paper model called Classic paper airplane. Two minutes for Noodles! isn’t it? Three minutes for Paper planes! It’s that simple with liftndrift*
Supplies Required:
- A4 Sheet of Paper or a Foolscap Paper with 70-90 GSM
- A kid Friendly scissor if you cannot slit the extras by hand with accuracy.
- Ruler or Flat thick object to flatten the folded edges to make a strong crease.
Step 1:
- Keep your A4 sheet vertically like a portrait rectangle over the work table or floor.
- Grab the top right sharp edge to match the left side of the paper straight.
- Please refer slick slider Fig.1 if you have any confusions.
Step 2:
- Now cut off the bottom remaining piece of the paper by scissor and if you do just by looking at my writing instructions, it may disappoint you.
- Please refer the Fig.2 for cutting.
Step 3:
- Now, by Unfolding you will get a square sheet of paper
- Fold the paper over to the other to make a centre crease and unfold
- Fold the edges A and B along the dotted lines to the centre crease without crossing the centre line
- Please refer Fig.3 and Fig.4
Step 4:
- Make a firm crease on both the sides to make sure your slick slider plane flies well without construction difficulties.
Step 5:
- Fold the nose of the airplane – from the point to point like the arrows directed as shown in the Fig.5

Step 6:
- Again fold along the dotted lines in the arrow directions.
- Make a firm crease always.
Step 7:
- Fold the Paper airplane into half along the centre line in the direction of arrows
Step 8:
- Time for making the Wings, Fold it down where the dotted lines stay as the crease.
- Do the same for the other side with the same fold.
Step 9:
- After Step 8 lift the wings of both sides upside to make a ‘T’ Shape like shown in Fig.9
- On both ends of the planes slightly bend the tips upside to have better lift and stability.

Slick Slider flying technique:
- Keep your left foot slightly forward and launch it in 30 – 40 degrees angle, throw it steadily with a medium force. If it fails, tweak the tail wing slightly up and try again.
- Try different angles and forces now! Wow, That’s how one learns properly with more trying and flying. Kudos!
